Introduction
The Jabra Move wireless is an attractive, light-weight, affordable Bluetooth wireless headphone priced at a decent tag of $99.99. This headphone can be used as both Bluetooth wireless headphone as well as wired headphone when connected using the bundled 3.5 mm cable. So if you run out of juice during long trips, you can still enjoy uninterrupted music on the go. Jabra Move wireless headphone has built-in volume and media control buttons for easy operation. These buttons work when the headphone is connected using Bluetooth, it doesn’t work when connected using the 3.5 mm audio cable. The headphone also has a power button, micro USB port and a 3.5 mm port to connect the audio cable. There is also built in microphone for hands free voice calling. Pairing it with devices is really easy and simple, thanks to the voice guided commands. I’ve used the headphone with mobile phone, tablet, laptop, TV and it worked flawlessly. One cool feature of this headphone is that it is possible to pair and use with multiple devices simultaneously. This headphone can be charged via a standard micro USB cable. Sadly, it doesn’t come with any charger or there is no carrying case either. However, it is not a big deal because we already have multiple micro USB chargers. It takes relatively less time to fully charge the wireless headphone. When fully charged it can be used for 8 hours for music playback and it has 288 hours standby time.
Design & Build Quality
Jabra Move wireless headphone comes in three colors as of now, which are black, blue and red. All three of these colors look really good and they also have a very good build quality. It feels sturdy and doesn’t feel that it can easily break. It is good to see that Jabra has not compromised with the build quality of the headphone. It uses stainless steel arms and dirt resistance fabric. The use of premium materials like this is not very common among other wireless headphones in this price range. According to Jabra, the headphone has gone through rigorous abuse tests, it can withstand dropping from 1 meter or can be flexed 10,000 times. So you should not be worried about the durability of the headphone.
As you can see in the picture above, the headphones look really good and feels very solid and long lasting when you use them. The ear cushions on the headphones are soft and the fabric used is very good in quality. They also don’t feel awkward when you use them continuously for a long period of time. If you love to listen to music for a long time, then you will definitely love to wear this headphone. Overall, I’m very impressed by the design and build quality.
Audio Quality
Let us talk about the main thing now. Forget about the build and everything, the main thing when it comes to headphones are the sound quality that they offer. I’ve used Jabra Move wireless headphone for more than one month and I’m glad to say that headphone is not only a great looker it is a good performer too. The headphone uses Jabra’s signature DSP to produce rich sound. The sound quality is clear and crisp, it performed pretty well. I played different types of music and it sounded really good. However, bass lovers might be a bit disappointed as the bass performance is not that good here. I’m not an audiophile, but I think most of the users will be very happy with the performance of the phone. There is almost no quality degradation when connected wirelessly using Bluetooth. The sound quality is identical when the headphone is connected via the cable or used as a wireless headphone. The overall the sound quality is good considering the price range. I also made some voice calls using the built in microphone and the performance is decent.
Verdict
All in all, this wireless headphone is a really good buy. If you are looking for a good wireless headphone which looks great and performs well, you should try Jabra Move wireless headphone.
Looks like nice headphones for under $100. I love the red color and the shape. The only concern is 8 hours working time. They could make it a bit longer…
