Ubuntu 13.10 codenamed Saucy Salamander is now officially released today. This is the 19th release of Canonical who is behind this popular Linux operating system. Ubuntu 13.10 is just an incremental update over Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail which was released this year. It doesn’t bring any noticeable visual changes or new features. This might sound disappointing because Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail also didn’t bring any big changes. Nevertheless, there is the latest version of Linux Kernel version 3.11.0-12.19. There are some under the hood improvements.
