How to Install Windows Media Player in Windows 8N and 8KN
Windows 8 is the latest of version of Microsoft’s Operating system scheduled to be released on 26 Oct 2012. Microsoft has changed the they have created a whole new interface. The final release of Windows is will be available in the European market as Windows 8N and Windows 8KN. According to a rule passed in 2004, Microsoft can not include Windows Media Player with Windows OS in Europe and thus European customers are not getting the WMP with the package. Microsoft has packed the Media player in Media Feature Pack available for both 32bit and 64bit Windows. Windows Media Feature pack is compatible with Windows 8 N, Windows 8 Pro N, Windows 8 Enterprise N, or Windows 8 KN, Windows 8 Pro KN, Windows 8 Enterprise KN.
Download Windows Media Player for Windows 8N and Windows 8KN:
Step 1: Visit Windows Media Feature Pack download link and select the Language and operating system version. Select Windows6.2-KB2703761-x64.msu Windows6.2-KB2703761-x64.msu for 64bit Windows and Windows6.2-KB2703761-x86.msu for 32bit Windows.
Step 2: When you click download, select “Save”. This will save the installer to your preferred download location.
Step 3: Double Click the installer file or Right click and select “Run as Administrator” to start the installation. Follow the instruction and go ahead with the download.
