Tech2Go is Now 6 Months Old and My Blogging Journey So Far
1…2…3..4..5… and 6, yes Tech2Go is now six months old.Today is the Happy Half-Birthday of Tech2Go !!
Where it all started–
It was Nov 2010, I had small holiday then. I’m very much interested in software, gadgets and all these things. I love to visit various Tech blogs regularly. One day I decided to write in blogs. At that time I did not plan to start my own blog. So I contacted one of my favorite Tech blog. I emailed the owner about my intention and waited for reply. I got reply, owner asked me about my experience in blogging. Again, I emailed him saying that I don’t have any experience in this field. But this time he didn’t give any reply. So I decided not to contact him again.
After getting cold response from the Tech blog owner, I was little bit depressed. I decided to start my own blog on 17 thNov 2010. I started a blog named TechTrick24 (techtrick24.blogspot.com) on Blogger platform. During Nov and Dec 2010 I’ve written 121 posts! At that time my blog was getting 100-200 page views every day. I was happy with it. On Jan 2011 I decided to buy custom domain name and On 8th finally I bought tech2go.in domain name. During Jan-Feb-March I’ve used that domain name in Blogger. On 2nd April I made a big decision to move from Blogger to self hosted WordPress. It was a hard decision as I’ve to pay for web hosting and I was not earning money from advertisements. Finally, I purchased web-hosting and started the process of Blogger to WordPress migration. It was really hard for me to import all posts from Blogger to WordPress and keeping all permalinks and feed subscribers. I did not know anything about WordPress at that time. It took me 2 weeks to fix all problems and settle down. After that I’ve not changed anything in my blog other than themes.
Currently there are 239 posts including 10 guest posts in Tech2Go. There are 200+ fans in Facebook and 70+ followers in Twitter.
What’s next–
I’m happy with the progress of Tech2Go. Currently it is getting 300+ visitors and receiving 1000+ page views per day. Alexa ranking is improving day by day. Today I’ve checked the rank, it’s 113k. I hope within this month it will get less than 100k Alexa ranking. I’ve some future plans about this blog. I need some co-writers and guest writers for this blog. I may start Adsesne revenue sharing, but I’ve not finalized about that. If you want to write for Tech2Go please contact me. I’m also planning to write about Blogging, WordPress etc in Tech2Go but that will not suite this blog’s niche. What do you think? Should I start writing about it? Need your opinions.
In this 6 months blogging carrier I met some very good blogger friends who helped me a lot.Thanks to all for all your support

Yes, I can remember your name and I remember DFS days.I used to post there software freebies. It was a great community. I stopped writing in DFS and started my one community, but it was not successful. I left Orkut and switched to FB. Yesterday one DFS friend contacted me. He is still following me from DFS. Hey Plaban good to see one more tech blogger from India,you are doing great in terms of alexa ranking as well just in 6 months just imagine once the posts would be 2k where you would be.Also you can use sharethis or shareholic sharing widget below your posts even I am using blogger do have paid hosting as well for my niche sites but my main single site is on blogger and I feel it hard to move to wordpress moreover I like blogger more instead of wordpress interms of ease of posting(as my posts contain a lot of images for tutorial)

Yes my blog’s Alexa ranking is very good. If we consider this custom domain then this blog is 5 months old. Alexa is counting ranking for last 5 months. I’ve used both sharing plugins in past. Now I’m using Sharedaddy. You should move to WordPress to get better traffic,SEO and more. I use Windows Live Writer for long posts like tutorial etc.

I have a very few post on my blog because I’m worried about my free webhost uptime that is very poor and I’m also a boy interested in web development and information technology, also studied computer science in 11th and 12th, now going to do Bca.
I hope you will be helping me someway [ I can’t guess ! ] Please guide me.
