Nokia N900 gets experimental Gingerbread build
The wait is finally over! Nokia N900 gets experimental build of Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). As promised before it is released during New year time. It will be best New year gift for all N900 lovers. The experimental Gingerbread build is not fully stable at this time. Currently Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Sound, keyboard etc are working. Take a look at this post to view video of Gingerbread on N900. It is reported that the latest version is faster than Froyo on N900. But still it’s great to know that it is possible to install Android on Nokia N900.

– codecs. Sound is almost useless, you can’t listen to music etc.
– voicecalls (wut do you expect — mediaserver crashes when ringtone is played?)

hi…i have succesfilly installed the 2.3.4 version of android on my n900. but internet is nt working. even contacts are not sunchronised as well.
